Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged! Jolie was recently spotted wearing an engagement ring at a private viewing of the Chinese Galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

The ring was created by Robert Procop (the couple’s jeweler) and Brad Pitt helped with the design. The lustrous ring contains a large, tablet shaped diamond surrounded by a cluster of smaller stones that are designed to fit Jolie’s finger exactly. The large, emerald cut diamond is estimated to be about 6 carats. All in all, the ring took about a year to make. Although a wedding date has not been announced, it has been stated that the ring is “a promise for the future.”
